COSRX The Retinol 0.5 Oil – 20ml

Product Overview:

The COSRX The Retinol 0.5 Oil is a potent anti-aging serum formulated with 0.5% pure Retinol, designed to visibly reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and signs of aging. This lightweight, oil-based formula also combines the soothing properties of Argan Oil and Vitamin E, making it ideal for users looking to address skin texture issues, hyperpigmentation, and overall skin rejuvenation. The oil-based formulation helps retain moisture while ensuring that the Retinol is delivered effectively to the skin, leaving it smooth, firm, and youthful.

Key Ingredients:

0.5% Retinol: Stimulates collagen production, accelerates skin renewal, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and acne scars.
Argan Oil: Rich in essential fatty acids and Vitamin E, it deeply nourishes, softens, and restores hydration to the skin.
Vitamin E: Provides antioxidant protection, preventing premature aging and skin damage from free radicals.
Squalane: Locks in moisture and strengthens the skin's natural barrier to keep it hydrated and smooth.

Benefits:

Anti-Aging: Reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging by stimulating collagen production.
Improves Skin Texture: Helps to refine skin texture, making it smoother and more even.
Fades Hyperpigmentation: Diminishes dark spots, acne scars, and uneven skin tone for a brighter, clearer complexion.
Hydrating Formula: Nourishes the skin while keeping it hydrated, preventing the dryness commonly associated with Retinol.
Protects Against Skin Damage: Provides antioxidant protection against environmental stressors and free radicals.

Who Is It For?

The COSRX The Retinol 0.5 Oil is perfect for individuals looking to address signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone. It’s also beneficial for those dealing with hyperpigmentation, acne scars, and texture concerns. Suitable for most skin types, it is especially beneficial for those with dry or combination skin due to its nourishing oil-based formula. However, it’s best for users with some experience using Retinol or those with more resilient skin, as Retinol can be potent and may cause initial irritation in sensitive skin.

How to Use:

After cleansing and toning, apply 2-3 drops of the oil to your face, avoiding the eye area.
Gently massage into the skin until fully absorbed.
Follow up with a moisturizer to lock in hydration.
Use in the evening as part of your nighttime skincare routine, and always apply sunscreen during the day.
Start with 2-3 times a week and gradually increase use as your skin builds tolerance.

Tips for Use:

Since Retinol can increase skin sensitivity, avoid using it with other strong actives such as exfoliating acids or Vitamin C.
Store the product in a cool, dark place to prevent oxidation of the Retinol.
Begin with a patch test to check for any irritation before applying it to the entire face.
